Electric guitar tuner not picking up sound unless its set to tuning the thinnest e string?
Well ive got an electric tuner, it was working the other day but today it only seems to be picking up the thinnest e string...i set the tuner onto tuning e1 and i pluck the string, cool it picks up sound for that 1, i change the note to tune, picks up no sound. Not even when i pluck the thinnest string when its set on tuning a different note.
Sounds like your tuner could be a little bit naff...
You only really need one string in tune in order to tune the rest.
And from the sounds of your other question - the tuner seems to be working on all strings now.

Use your ear, man, fer christ's sake...
Seems like you've figured it out...
It could be time to change the batteries in the tuner - the higher frequencies draw less power than the lower ones, due to the closer peaks distance of the sine wave.
Give the whole thing a good clean too - make sure the buzzer's working and the lights are flashing and that the microphone is clean as can be.
If you can, try plugging the guitar into the tuner, rather than use the mike - this is more reliable anyway...
Apart from that, all that I can recommend is that you tune from top E backwards.
And learn to tune by ear.
It's not hard and will make you a better musician - did Jimi Hendrix or Page or the Iron Maiden shredders or Affif or Morello or Dimebag Darrell or even the amazing Gorden Giltrap use electric tuners?
I don't know...
But I hope not.
