Silky Satin

What lining do you like best in coats or jackets, silky satin or other?
Do you like the sheen and smoothness of silky or satin lining? Or do you like other linings? Do you prefer matching or contrast color lining? Also, do you let lining show by wearing your jacket or coat open sometimes?
You should never use silk for lining.
I always use a smooth satin lining for coats, jackets and skirts.
The reason being that they slide easily over other clothing like a blouse, jumper, woolens etc.
I like to see linings while wearing jackets. I made a winter blue jacket with green lining and it looks great when you see them together. I have also made a black jacket with white lining and a white skirt. Looks great.
Definitely Satin for lining.
Real Silk is a material that you never iron and is normally made into Skirts, Trousers and Jackets.
