These curtains are grommet top and i want to put sheers behind them so?

im gonna use a double rod and im wondering do the sheers also have to have the grommet tops? Or else when i close the curtains the sheers will show through the holes and I dunno if that's right.

also what color of sheers should I put white or cream (light beige)??

I would go cream on the color.
Not knowing what your windows are like,it is hard to say for sure but I would suggest a tension rod for the sheers.Then the sheers would just cover the glass of the window.
