Is it possible to win in small claims court against a valet co. who stripped my clutch? Car towed upon exit.?
The valet service jammed the clutch, broke the clutch rods and then jammed the starter trying to repeatedly drive it without a clutch. My car had to be towed from the lot and was in perfect condition upon arrival. They insisted that there was no reverse when I got there (ridiculous). Additionally they were rude, and the claims dept claims it can't pay me as it's a mechanical problem. There were security cameras. Building was an upscale Beverly Hills building mall and my car is a 1987 (but very clean.) Do I have a chance in small claims court?
