Leisure Bra
My mom cuts my hair and doesn't allow me to straighten my hair/ears pierced/lipgloss/ANYTHING help?
And I'm 14! Well, I just turned 14, actually.
First of all, my mom doesn't really work. My dad does and we're in middle class.
My mom's so old fashioned it's because when she was little she was brought up in a poor family.
She cuts my hair (once she messed up, and HAD to give me a crew cut, so ugly, people thought I was a GUY)
My dad got me a hair straightener and she wouldn't allow me to straighten my HAIR in the morning because she wanted me to get some EXTRA sleep.
She tells me that the most important thing that I should worry about right now is schoolwork.
Ironically, I'm an honor student (straight A's, great writer, skipped two grades in math) and I spend all of my spare time either reading, play the piano, or leisure stuff (friends, laptop, iPod, sports etc).
MY MOM WON'T ALLOW ME TO GET A BRA THAT I WANT.
SHE GOT ME A BRA FROM A crappy place called V Lee's (no idea).
It has the word "Teen BRA" written across the front. OMG right?
I wish I had a mom like yours (I am serious, I am not kidding) My mom never cared about me like that, but she did cut my hair up until the day I moved out of her house, so about a year ago. Be thankful for your mother she loves you and you may not see it now but you will appreciate her when you move away. I had always heard people say that growing up and I would think "yeah right, you don't know my mother" but I know that even though it didn't seem like she cared as much for me as your mom does for you, I miss her and I appreciate all those times that she kept me from harm, even if that harm was not getting enough sleep. Go give your mom a hug and tell her you love her, she is just showing you she loves you by caring about you.
Also remember when you move out, you make the rules!
