how would you describe this gown?

i'm writing a story where the main character's family just moved into a rich neighborhood and they're holding a masquerade ball. i really want to use this dress, but i don't know how to describe it to fit the story. can you help me please? with adjectives, colors, cut, the skirt and top, that sort of stuff. thanks!

Her dress shimmered like the grey-blue dusk sky. The strapless, embroidered bodice hugged her feminine body, perfectly accentuating her smooth ivory shoulders. The beautiful wrapped satin skirt flowed out from her body, with embroidered taffeta bursting from the bottom like a butterfly from its cocoon.

This is just to start you off, you will need to change it to better suit your character and your writing style.
