How does sexual attraction works? Why are people attracted to one person but aren't attracted to another?

I've know that you can't choose or decide whom you're gonna be sexually attracted to. Imagine there are 2 beautiful, sexy lady's. For For example: Jessica ir very sexy, beautiful, every man's dreamgirl and Jenny is also pretty but not as pretty and sexy as Jessica.
Then why am I sexually attracted to Jenny who is less attractive. Why am I sometimes attracted to girls who pretty but less attractive than the other ones.
For example: actress Jessica Alba is one of the most beautiful and sexiest women of all time but i'm not even a little sexually attracted to her.

Mankind like any other species is trying to survive. Our nature selects our mate to help us reproduce children that do not have the same problems we had in our lives.

Let me first define some of these terms to avoid confusing you: I is my own experiences; my nature on the other hand is the series of experiences of my ancestors which cause my brain to be wired-up the way it is, that makes me think the way I think; before my own major experiences shape it.

The will-to-survive always asks one question: what qualities I need to live easier? The organism answers this question and will try to solve it during its life. The solution that does not need too much thinking and working will be given by our nature. It selects a mate for us to solve that particular problem. It is where love at first sight is derived from.

The problem can vary from person to person; it can be, for example, the size of your nose: Having big nose, for instance, at first seems to be a simple one but when you face a lot of problems in your society, in your particular culture only because of the size of your nose you will be sexually attracted to someone who has a nose you like; to reproduce a baby that doesn’t have the same problem. And in this case you will ignore other physical or mental abilities of the person you’re attracted to.

Well of course there are a lot of people with that simple quality but why are we attracted to only one of them? If you see the same person or even think about her/him again an again, you bombard your cells with a particular chemical that comes from a part of your brain called hypothalamus, and you will be addicted to the chemical. It will be released only when you see or think about that person. You feel that you cannot be with someone else, cannot be sexually attracted to someone else and cannot be happier with someone else. That’s true because you are addicted not to that person but to the chemical you receive because of that person.

If you are not sexually attracted to Jessica, I think it’s because you are not looking for sexual pleasure but for a particular chemical pleasure that of course can be much sweeter.
