What to charge for making dance costumes?

How much should my wife charge the dance studio for sewing 11 costumes. The costumes are full vests with fringe around the bottoms and trimmed out the sides. Also 11 pair of flair-legged denim jeans. And 20 2" sequin strawberries. She already has about 30 hours into it before making the jeans. The dance studio paid for the material. The owner asked my wife how much she owes her, but my wife has no idea what to charge. Should she charge by the hour or by the costume or what?

There's alot of work in those costumes! Since the dance studio paid for the material, I would either charge an hourly fee that your wife thinks her time is worth - or charge around $200 per costume....whichever is more profitable for her.
