7 months after leaving a relationship, do things still make you sad or nostalgic?
I left the relationship because my partner was verbally and emotionally abusive. 7 months on and I've been through the whole grieving process, the hurt, the upset and the betrayal. I know that leaving was the right thing to do (though bizarrely, as I definitely don't want him back, I'm glad to hear he's still single too!).
Sometimes things still make me sad and nostalgic. Silly things like the stupid 'Moonpig' advert that me and my ex used to sing all the time, there are also CD's that I don't yet feel able to listen to again, and I haven't since worn the camisole set that I bought when I was with him - although I only wore it once.
Anyone else felt like this so long after leaving a relationship?

you just simply haven't quite got over the good times with him but remember that was false he gave you the good bits so he could hold on to you to control you well done to get yourself out of that awfull violent situation you brave girl its not easy at all now get on with your life and be glad you left him without him controlling you forever things would have only got a lot worse!! think of the things he did to hurt you, would you ever have hurt him that way?Linda
