Did anyone actually felt sorry for David Hernandez at 'Idol Gives Back'?

With all twelve finalists back for some live pledging, David H (aka Burn/Dick's Cabaret stripper) sat at the back of the stage. Ryan never got to him, even though he had some conversation with eliminated contestants like Chikezie. At times, David had to wave into the camera repeatedly just to get the nation's attention... Is there something behind all this, or am I just feeling sorry that America is a bit intolerant?

Yeah, I think American Idol is fake after reading about how many of this year's contestants are planted. Of the final eight, seven of them were plants with previous recording industry experience. Isn't it convenient that the two people who were most controversial in the top 12, Amanda and David, were sent home before they could make it to the tour? I watch the show for entertainment purposes but I take it with a grain of salt because no producer on that show is going to let someone crappy win. Say Sanjaya had stayed around longer last year, they would not have let him stick around to the finale and they certainly wouldn't have let him win. As each season goes on and certain "strange" coincidences happen, I begin to think more and more that the show is rigged.
