Bra Dilema?
The last time i purchased a bra, it was from Victoria Secret and it was a 38C... well its been about 2 years since then and now i am measured at a 44C.... problem is i SWIM in that size cuz i tried it on and it clearly is large in the band and ginormous in the cup size.... but a 42C fits comfortably in the band but gaps a bit on the sides of the cup cuz its a bit too big.... i need to know what i should do... the perfect cup fit for me is from the 38C but the band is too tight... i know i can buy extenders but what other bra options do i have?
Try a 40B or 40C. Jumping from 38 to 42 is two band sizes so you probably need to only go up one. Try on a few different cup sizes in the 40 and see what fits best. The band should fit tightly on the loosest hook (fit about 2 fingers under it when it's hooked). The piece of fabric between the cups in the front should lay flat against your chest and the cups should hold your whole breast without puckering (too big) or having spill out (too small). I never trust it when they measure you for size as it is actually wrong about 80% of the time.
