Could i wear striped tights under ripped black skinnies?

i have an old pair of black skinny jeans that i never wear anymore because they're faded and they've shrunk a little.
and i was thinking i could rip them like this http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Clearance/Bottoms/Tripp-Black-And-Lime-Ripped-Mesh-Skinny-Pants-298930.jsp and just wear my black and white striped tights under them. but i dont know how that would look too busy.

I would just rip them and wear them without the tights. I do think it would be kind of busy if you had on striped tights. Maybe get a pair of plain bright-colored or red tights instead of stripes...that would look awesome!
