What Motels in the Bronx are good?

I am looking for a motel to stay at when my girlfriend comes over that's in a nice area in the Bronx. I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something comfortable. Something that has the basic air conditioning, bed, and shower. And thats in a good area, and that is a decent price. Manhattan is out the question, because I'm going to spend a lot of money taking her out, and I quite frankly don't have money for a place to stay in Manhattan.

I was thinking of either staying in Pelham Gardens, Hutchinson-Whitestone Motel, or the Whitestone Capri, which are all in the Bronx. I know the Gardens and Capri, are nice but don't know much about the Hutchinson-Whitestone Motel.

Anybody got any other advice or recommendations for the places above, or places you think I should stay?
